• specialise in family law, and
• have the appropriate experience, knowledge and skills to be able to assist you.

Only solicitors and legal executives (ie Fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives, or FILEXs) who meet the SRA's strict requirements are permitted to join the scheme. When you see the Family Law Accreditation Scheme logo, you'll know that the practitioner's skills, knowledge and experience have been rigorously and independently assessed.
