COVID-19 : A Message from Bill Montague, Senior Partner
Dexter Montague was founded as a community legal practice over 30 years ago and that commitment remains at the heart of our firm. Faced with the unprecedented Covid-19 ‘coronavirus’ pandemic, we are determined to play our part in helping to support our local Reading community, our clients and our staff through this difficult time.
In this spirit, we wish to assure you – our current and future clients and professional & business contacts - that we are doing all we can to protect the health and safety of our staff and clients whilst continuing to provide continuity of service. To this end:
- we are working mainly from home, with a core central team at 105 Oxford Road providing essential support including telephone reception, post & deliveries;
Our lawyers are able to deal with casework remotely while working from home. Our central IT and support systems enable remote working both safely and securely.
- we are offering telephone or video conferences in place of face-to-face appointments for all but essential personal contact with us; and
- if it is essential for you to be seen in person and we have the capacity to assist, then we shall apply public health social distancing and safety guidelines.
In short, we have put in place systems to maintain continuity of client service and minimise business disruption to ensure that matters proceed as smoothly as possible.
